Woodhall Spa 1940's Weekend

An annual event I make sure not to book any work that clashes, great weekend with Woodhall being flooded with period vehicles, fancy dress, street traders, shows, exhibitions.

Friday night friends come from all over to stay and few beers with good food enjoyed all weekend.

Saturday morning the kids were off to 1940’s street party where they play games, dance and have spam sandwiches orange squash and competitions all of them dressing in period clothing.

All day various shows going on plus the Battle of Britain flying over with Woodhall Spa being home of the famous 619 Dambuster squadron during WWII.

Various military vehicles, classic cars, motorcycles and even Poirot in his small van on show.

Saturday good friend and ex crew chief Benny’s other halfs 40th birthday, we booked into the Tally Ho Inn near Sleaford, great meal few beers and certainly be going back there before long.

Great to chill out for the weekend, ignore the phone & enjoy time with the family & friends.
