The Carole Nash Classic Bike Guide Winter Classic 2020

There's no better way to kick start 2020 than to see what's on offer at the Newark Winter Classic Show.

It was great to get out of the house after the Christmas and New Year festivities and pop down to the first two-wheel show of the year. That’s certainly how it looked with record crowds, decent weather, and of course, the “Star guest” Pierfancesco 'Frankie' Chili.

This year was the second show I have hosted with this incredibly friendly star telling stories about his long illustrious career racing in Grand Prix & World Superbike.

Nowadays, he's living the dream as a life guard on his beach in Rimini & renting some holiday apartments, it certainly keeps that Italian tan topped up.

He raced during an incredibly competitive era with huge talent in Grand Prix before moving to winning ways in World Superbike and becoming the fans favourite worldwide.

Always happy go lucky even with his recent medical problems, I will certainly be taking him up on his invite to the beach.

There were some beautiful bikes being displayed at this years show, many winning great prizes.

I had a wander around the auto jumble buying a few bits & pieces for the workshop, and chatted to the owners of many machines ranging from Vintage, Classic, Japanese Classic & some surprisingly fast scooters, before firing them into life!

I'm now looking forward to the Stafford Show in April with another very interesting guest?

See you there...
